Care and Usage Instructions
Reed Diffusers

Reed diffusers are flame-free home fragrance bottles filled with scented oil that travel up porous reeds and slowly scent a room continuously.

Carefully remove the stopper and insert the reeds into the bottle.

To activate the scent, insert the reeds into the oil, allow them to soak for about 30–60 minutes, then flip the reeds so the saturated ends face upward. This starts the fragrance diffusion.

Mishkan reed diffusers are designed to be balanced and refined—noticeable without being overpowering. Scent strength will vary based on placement and room size. For a stronger scent, use more reeds and place the diffuser where there is gentle airflow (like a hallway or living space).

Flip the reeds once or twice each week to refresh the fragrance. but do it carefully over a paper towel or sink so oil does not drip onto furniture or surfaces.

Our diffuser are suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, entryways, and offices. Use 200ml for larger spaces and 100ml for smaller spaces

Place on a stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not place near open flames and keep out of reach of children and pets. For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes, face, and skin.
Helpful Note: over time your nose can get used to the scent, so guests entering the room may notice it more strongly than you do.
Room & Fabrics Spray

Our Room and Fabric Spray is designed to gently refresh the air and add a beautiful scent touch to soft furnishings throughout your home.

Shake gently before each use. Hold the bottle upright and spray into the air to scent your room. For fabric use, spray lightly from a short distance onto items such as curtains, pillow covers, bedding, or upholstered furniture.

Start with a few sprays and build as desired. A little can go a long way.

For small rooms such as bathrooms, use 2 to 3 sprays. For medium rooms such as bedrooms use 4 to 6 sprays. For larger rooms such as living rooms, use 6 to 8 sprays.

For fabric, 1 to 2 light sprays per item is usually enough. Before Spraying on Fabric, always test on a small hidden area first. Allow the fabric to dry before close contact. Do not oversaturate fabric. Use with care on delicate, silk, vintage, or specialty materials.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Do not place near open flames and keep out of reach of children and pets. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, face, and skin.
Helpful Note
Because fragrance blends can naturally vary, slight changes in appearance may occur over time. This does not always affect performance. Shake gently before use for best results.
Aso-Oke Pillow Covers
1. What are Mishkan pillow covers made of? Our pillow covers are handcrafted from Aso-Oke, a traditional woven textile known for its durability, texture, and timeless beauty. Both sides of each cover are made entirely from Aso-Oke.
2. How often should I wash the pillow covers? Aso-Oke does not require frequent washing. We recommend washing only when the cover is visibly dirty or stained, as unnecessary washing can reduce the longevity and texture of the fabric.
3. How should the pillow covers be washed? Wash gently with mild detergent on a delicate cycle. Air-dry or tumble-dry on low heat. Avoid bleach and high heat to preserve the fabric.
4. Do the pillow covers include inserts? No. Our pillow covers are sold without inserts, allowing you to choose your preferred fill for comfort and fullness.
5. Why might there be slight variations in color or texture? Because Aso-Oke is handcrafted, slight variations in weave, texture, and color are natural and part of the fabric’s character. Lighting may also affect how colors appear.

6. What carriers do you use? We use trusted carriers, and the carrier + tracking info will be included in your confirmation email.
7. What if my package is delayed? Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather or carrier delays. Mishkan Living isn’t responsible for carrier-related delays.
8. What if my package is lost or arrives damaged? Please contact us via the Contact page within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos (if applicable), and we’ll help resolve it.
